Hi! Have we met?

I moved my list over to Beehiiv a few months ago and realized that I never moved the automated welcome email over… uhoh.

In the last few weeks, I’ve had dozens of new subscribers (I’m so incredibly honored you’re here.) But before I throw you into the regular emails I send, I wanted to send this little impromptu welcome.

I’m intentionally sending this email to everyone on my list - whether you’ve been here since the beginning (4 years and counting!) or whether you’re brand new. There’s over 1700 of you here and it’s high on my priority list to re-segment and only send you relevant emails. I put a lot of thought and time into writing here…. and if this isn’t for you anymore…. ZERO hard feelings if you unsubscribe. But if you stay on, I promise I will make this worth your while.

🍾 Ok, with that out of the way, Happy Friday (as I send this). I want to welcome you with bubbly/ tea/ iced coffee/ your drink of choice.

I started this business because I really care about good people building wildly profitable and good-for-the-world businesses. And since you’re here, I think you’re an incredible human.

I believe every business should exist at the intersection of profits and purpose: to build a business without caring about the world around you is pointless. And to build without thinking about long-term profitability (and paying yourself as a founder is lame and unsustainable.)

I’ve had a squiggly career if you’ve ever seen one. I’ve done a lot: vc fellowship, startup life, big corporate life, nonprofit life, business school, founder life… (there’s more).

Looking back, I am so grateful that I got to explore the world: both with travel, and also with how I fill my days.

I am a certified coach and these days spend my time as a business coach, a fractional partnerships manager/ strategist and mom (I have a 1 year old, who is my greatest joy).

Here is what I write about:
