Running Mini Experiments

Getting re-inspired, finding a flow

I am coming off a high hosting the Monetize Your Podcast workshop. Our daycare was randomly closed this week, but they didn’t tell me this until late last week when it was way too late to reschedule a workshop with 15 people who had paid and had either put this on their cal or set time aside to watch the replay??

Anyway - my village rallied and it was freaking wonderful. We covered so much in 90 minutes, but like with any new topic, sometimes going to a workshop is like planting seeds, it plants an idea that then takes its own life.

I’m working on developing the ideas behind how/when to monetize your podcast into an on-demand course, so if you’re interested in this topic, sign up for the waitlist here (ofc you’ll get the preferential treatment and you’ll still get to be a part of the wonderful community created out of this).

Now, I’m getting ready to host my next workshop on Thursday, “Your Nervous System is Your Secret Co-Founder” with Renew Venture Capital (it’s open to everyone, if you want to come!)

Later on in July, I am facilitating a workshop for a group of Chiefs of Staff around building better teams.

So yeahhh… a lot of very seemingly different topics that are all very me.

It’s taken me a while to want to do anything other than coach 1:1 since I had my daughter. Does doing a million different things get exhausting? Yeah, sometimes. But then I get to course correct or take a breather.

I am really enjoying running these mini experiments and learning what feels most aligned at this time in my life/ business lifecycle. It’s the cool thing about being a business owner… there are no rules.

Do what feels aligned, serves the world and upholds your values. And this frankly, has served me quite well.

I recently read the concept of the gap and the gain by Dan Sullivan and can’t help but think of all the times we’re unhappy about our lives/business because we’re measuring progress against where we had hoped we would be instead of where we were.

Such a delicate balance between being grateful for our growth…. and shooting for the stars.

In a few weeks, I’m participating in an accelerator program that I am psyched about. Using time this summer to re-establish systems, work on offers, spend time outdoors (maybe camp for the first time since high school with my 13 month old? What can I say, I live life on the edge).

I’ll share what I’m working on, what I’m learning and what doesn’t work 🙂 I’d love to hear what you’re working on/ experimenting with.

Have a great weekend!

Ankita

PS: I have a couple incredible 1:1 clients I am working with to launch new services in their businesses. I have 1 open 1:1 coaching spot in case you’re interested (best for existing business owners toying with new ideas.) Book time here to chat.
