Spirituality, creativity and wild goals

Get inspired, create some magic and have fun

If you follow me on LinkedIn, you might’ve seen my post yesterday where I talked about how much I resonated with Maggie Rogers 2025 commencement speech at NYU Tisch.

If you haven’t seen the commencement address, this is the best 12 minutes you’ll spend today. If you identify as spiritual, heart-centered, go listen.

If you still want more, go listen to this podcast episode from last year.

But please come back to read the rest of this email cause 1. its good, 2. I have a point to make and 3. it took me forever to write.

What really inspired me about the commencement address was when Maggie talks about going through the messy middle i.e. the times you feel like doing nothing cause you feel uninspired and are trying to figure out what comes next. This is the part where we know we’re on the precipice of a new beginning and the waiting is so.freaking.hard.

These are the times you know in theory that the universe has got your back — but you just want a sign that things are working out. 🍀🍀🍀 » here’s your sign

You’ve just got to make it through those hard messy times when all you want to do is quit.

Something I’ve been thinking about a lot is recognizing that our work is about way more than we realize. Lean into that all-encompassing bigger purpose our work fulfills.

The more you are you, the more things will work out for you.

The more you are doing something for the bigger vision, for the end client, for the world, the more the path will become obvious.

Perhaps things don’t always work out in the order you imagined or in the timeline you hoped. But they always work out in the end, and they work out bigger and better than expected.

If you’ve been around for a while (thank you), I’ve openly shared I’ve been in that messy middle myself for the last several months. I’ve loved my 1:1 clients this past year but I want to do and build SO MUCH BIGGER - and after having my daughter, simultaneously wanted to change the freaking world - and do nothing.

I had to let go of most parts of my business because I knew i wanted to rebuild differently and better.

I really freaking care about this world and want more businesses to thrive that are at that intersection of profits and purpose. How am I doing this? Coaching + fractional work + some other fun experiments.

Side note: honestly, showing up is scary AF cause I am sure that there are people who judge me, but I don’t want you to allow your perception of their judgement to keep you small, ok?

I remind myself that my work is so much bigger than me. I am and have always wanted to be a conduit to build better businesses, lead more aligned lives, be in touch with our truest, happiest, most authentic selves.

I am in an accelerator program starting in <2 weeks and am so excited to have a space to launch and build a couple things (more info soon!)

But hey, if any of this resonates with you, sign up for this free 60 minute workshop to create a new service. The idea is honestly to spark your creativity & launch something fun.

If this email resonated, can you please hit reply and let me know?
